I wanna Talk Like You , Walk LIke You. Obie, Doo

I have been remiss. However, I have due cause.

On Monday, I was preparing for yesterday's trip, and feeling a bit bowfy.

And Yesterday, I had the best trip ever.

Wee-Devil, Kez and Moi, boarded a plane, courtesy of Ryanair at 2p per flight (inclusive of taxes), and flew to Bournemouth. Once at Bournemouth, we got a hired car, and started our Drive to



MONKEY WORLD

which we knew to be close by, but not 100% sure exactly where it was. After a few wrong turns, we covered the 25 miles, in a roundabout trip of 50miles. Good Job Wee-Devil is a good driver and didn't make us feel sick at all!

Monkey World is a fantastic place. They provide a home and help for monkeys of all types who have been trapped in Pet, Circus or experimental labs.

We spent 5 hours there and didn't see it all, nor did we spent as much time with the animals we did see, that we wanted to. I think I could have happily spent a week there, getting to know all the animals, and spending time with them all.

They are fantastic beautiful creatures, and if you have the time and the money - GO GO GO - Go and visit the beautiful monkeys too.

Why am I up the tree, you say? Why are you down there.

I was never cut out to be a single parent.

I am exhausted.

Si went to Arran this morning until Wednesday morning. I came home from work, at 5.30, peeled potatos, put sausages in the oven, and then washed the dishes left from last night. I set out the tea, after chasing Steve away to collect money. We had our tea, then flew back out to collect more money. We came back in and I drove Steven to Volleyball Coaching. Then we came back and I forced Eilidh to go and collect one house, I did two more.

We got in, Eilidh wanted to bring the tree in. So tree came in and I left her to decorate while I tried to sort out Steven's money.

I had to try and re-pot the tree while it was in it's pot, as it was sitting at a 70 degree angle. We've moved it a wee bitty. and now that it is decorated it's looking great.

I flew back out to buy bread and collect Steven. Then I came back, helped Eilidh finish the tree, made Chocolate and Tea, and Toast, and then sat here, to write letters for Steven to take to school tomorrow.

Jees. All I want to do is go to bed. Yawnnnnnnn

Summertime...... summertime

The sun is shining today which is nice. I've been reading http://www.janeygodley.blogspot.com/ very funny lady. I wish I could tell her some of my stories, and she could recount them.

I'm sure she'd love the one about Si's family. I don't condon that name calling but we used to get letters from Si's gran which detailed the happenings in the household, and EVERYone was listed, mum, dad, the three girls, the one boy, the boy who wasn't there because he had committed suicide, the three dogs named after the three girls, the other pets and always ended with ..... and the two mongols.

I forgot about them until we went to visit, but o m g every one in the household was completely barking. No wonder we managed one night with them, and drove off without a backward glance.
