61. Do you like current pop stars?    Hmmm, I like Ed Sheeran. I like Paolo Nutini, I like,Some Katy Perry, I like Christina Perri, I like the ones who sing something about their American Apparel Underwear….  I like all sorts of music, but when I hear something that I don’t like,I really don’t  like it.

62. What is your least favorite chore?   Any chore. I am truly a lazy bitch. I have a need to do chores, but I have to work myself up to do them, I hate having a dirty house, so I do it, through necessity, not through enjoyment.

63. Last place you drove your car?   I drove yesterday, to work and back.  Today, I cycled.

 64. Ever been out of the country?   Yah, I was in America in May; I was in Engerland last year, I have been in France, Greece,  Spain, erm  oh Iceland and Canada.

 65. Where were you the last time you used a public bathroom?   Does my work count?    Work is a public toilet.  Although, last time for a real public toilet,was in the supermarket last week.  I was bursting.

 66. Could you handle being in the military?     No. I am a pathetic woose, I’ m not brave, and I am in awe of those who enlist.

 67. What is your average cell phone bill?   £30 sterling, or 45 dollars.

 68. Who or what are you thinking about right now?   I am thinking could quite happily throw a brick through the tv. I hate question time.

 69. When was the last time you laughed REALLY hard?   Today.   My friend at work suffered a bereavement last week,and I was trying to make her smile. I succeeded. And we both laughed out loud.

 70. How many pairs of shoes do you own?  About three

 71. Are your toes always painted?   Nope, But they have anchors on them just now.

 72. How many piercings do you have?   One and a half. My ears…. And one ofthem is half shut.

 73. What are you doing today?  I cycled 4.5 miles to work, worked, and then cycled home again,, then I crocheted, and then I watched T

 74. Have you ever been gambling?   I have been in a casino, but I concentrated on drinking not gambling.

 75. When is the last time you updated your blog?    A Sunday a week ago.  Typically I update this blog weekly, with Sunday Stealing, with the occasional comment in between.  But I have another blog which I keep updated on a daily basis.

 76. Do you like roller coasters?   Nope.  If I dare. I have to watch at least a random 8 people get on and get off again. If each one of the testers, come off smiling, I will endeavour to give it a go.  Butprobably not.

 77. Have you ever been to Disneyland or world?   Yah,  In Florida,twice. J

 78. Do you have a favorite cartoon character?   snoopy

 79. Last thing you cooked?   Hmmmm……Scones, which turned out really badly.

 80. How's the weather?   It is warm, but threatening dampness.

 81. Do you e-mail more than snail mail?   Yes indeedy, but I do like to post the card and noteletts

 82. What's the funniest picture you ever took with your cell phone?   Oh too many to even think

83. Last time you were sick?   I had a migraine yesterday. I felt really sick, but didn’t barf. The lasttime I really was sick, was on the bloody ferry from Troon to Cairnryan.

 84. What states have you lived in?   None.  I live in Counties.  Ayrshire, Renfrew, Lothian, and the Kingdom of Fife.

 85. Do you wish you could move?   Only if it was to a vine yard in France, with an attached caravan park.

. Do you read your horoscope?   Occasionally, not so much now, because I don’t read the papers any more  - and on-line newspapers tend not to have horoscopes!  If we have a magazine in the house, I will browse the horoscopes… I’m Taurus, but I read Taurus  and Aries, despite not being on the cusp but because I think that I’m more Aries than Taurus, (especially when the horoscope is good J 

31. Where was the last place you bought something?   Today, I bought the shopping at Morrisons ; our supermarket.   Also – Malt Whiskyfrom Thelma and Louise, and a meal from Waterside Inn.

32. How do you feel about your hair right now?    I’m loving being blonde.  I’ve been brunette  all my life… except for when I was little, and I was Ginger.   Blonde is the new me… But I needto do my roots

33. Do you bite your nails?   Weirdly, I have recently just stopped.  Just stopped, Just like that, and completely had a flaky when I broke a nail washing the dishes.

34. Do you have any expensive jewelry?   Nope. I have a wedding ring.  I have a little engagement ring which is too wee for my fat finger.  And I have a heart which I dangle from my neck.  That’s all. I’m not an expensive person.

35. Have you ever been told you speak fast?   When I was wee yes.  I trained as a teacher and know that the only way for people to understand you is to speakslowly and clearly.

36. Is your laugh usually hearty?   And usually involves some involuntary wee.

37. How fast have you driven a car?   100 mph.

38. Have you ever smoked?   Nope. Vile. Vile.Vile

39. What was your favorite subject in school?   Accounts.

40. Do you have cell phone provider loyalty?   Yesh, I love o2.I have no idea why.  I just have always been with them, and I love them.

41. What type of boy or girl do you usually fall for?   Every one before my husband was dark, and broody.  My husband is blonde and gentle.

42. Do you have any hidden talents? Hmmmmmm well. Do I? Nope… I amjust brilliant at everything.

43. Favorite Song?    You’re Mine.  (Just now). Or Crying, or Look of Love, or Please Release me.  Or Madness

44. Do you like to sing at all?   All the time. The folk in my work hate it.

45. Dream Job?   Vine yard owner.

46. Where does most of your family live?   Scotland, Ayrshire, West Coast… But then there are those of the family who live in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Alaska.

47. Are you an only child or do you have siblings?   One Sister.

48. Would you consider yourself to be spoiled?  Ha ha ha No.

49. What was the first thing you thought when you woke up?   It’s Saturday. Joy.

50. Do you drink?   Yes, I am currently drinking.  I have had Wild Turkey, and coffee, and Whisky.   

51. Know any other languages?   I can scrape by on French.  I wouldn’t say I am fluent, but I can make a French person understand me.

52. Ever write a coded message?   With an invisible ink pen. Yes. 

53. Have you ever been in someone else's wedding?    What like gatecrashed it?   Or been part of the party?  I was my sister’s bridesmaid.   I was pretty danged drunk.

54. Do you have any children?   I have the two best children in the world.  Seriously. Anyone who meets my children want to steal them from me.     They are THAT great.!

55. Did you take a nap today?   I was going to, but I had things to do.  I love naps.

56. Who has the same birthday as you?   Jonny Galeki. ?

57. Ever met anyone famous before?   The Queen.   Yes, the QUEEN.. 

58. Do you want to be famous one day?   Nah, am quite content with the life I have.

59. Any Pet Peeves?   Peeves… mmm… many things.  People asking me questions constantly when I am trying to do stuff, and distracting me from concentrating on what I am doing.  I have to count constantly to stop myself from exploding.

60. Are you multitasking right now?   Yes, I am doing this… and Watching England play Italy in the World Cup, texting to my husband who is at a sleepover, and chatting to my son on facebook.

We sit with all the windows closed,

But when the goal for the other team

The tradition in Scotland is support any team
Other than The English Dream

So a holiday in faraway climes

And all can gather and enjoy the sport, 
Rather than pick, and bully, and then gloat!

1. What was the highlight of your week?  Oh lots of highlights.  New Baby for a friend. Month End completed in 5 days. 

2. Whose car were you in last? Mine – Gordon, the White one. Roger, the Brown one isn’t really going.

3. When is the next time you will kiss someone?   In about 2 minutes. I demand kisses from my husband quite frantically.

4. What color shirt are you wearing?   Black. Today, I am mostly Gothic.

5. How long is your hair?   Short. Most people would say.  I think it is long.  I like an inch all over kind of doo.  My husband says “No”.

6. Are you good looking?   Exceptionally; if you like heavy, ugly birds.

7. Last movie you watched?   Last Passenger. – Dougray Scott

8. Who were you with?    My husband (He features heavily in my life)

9. Last thing you ate?   Scone, with strawberry jam and clotted cream

10. Last thing you drank?   Cup of coffee.

11. When was the last time you had your heart broken?   It would depend.  If you mean broken as in hurt so much I thought it would never heal.  It would be when my dad died, when I was 21.    If it was when my kids were so hurt, that I thought I would have to kill someone to drive out the hurt,  not too many times.  If it was love?  I don’t think I have been heartbroken over love.  I think my pride was broken more than anything – I still love the only one who could break my heart in love.

13. Are you happy right now?   Yes, I am.

14. What did you say last?   Where are you?   Are you okay?   (Husband disappeared into the attic  Always wise to check up and make sure he is okay.)

16. What color are your eyes?   Green / Blue / Brown.  Every colour possible  except pink.

17. Are you left-handed?   Nope.

19. Do you have any pets?  Yes, we have two cats, Bean and Beau… AKA Killer and Fats.

20. Favorite Vacation?   France, Le Grand Francais… Tres Beaucoupe

21. What do you dislike currently?   I dislike …. That weekends are only 2 days long

22. What are you listening to?   The sound of the wind banging the blinds on the back door which is open to air the house.

23. If you could have one thing right now what would it be?   New double glazing, a patio and a rocker.

24. What is your favorite scent?   Currently DKNY Pure.

25. Who makes you happiest?   My family

26. What were you doing at midnight last night?  Watching the TV.   England were playing

27. When is your birthday?     It’s just passed.

28. Who has the same phone as you?   My daughter.

29. Last time you went swimming in a pool?   Hmmm, hmmm, quite a while ago – last year I think.  I was swimming in a local health centre, but to be honest – it felt like swimming through other people’s body fat.

Where would you retire to?      France.  West Coast France.  Brittany Maybe?  Really tiny little vine yard, really small camp site.  


What are your best physical features?   My Boobs?  My Eyes?  My Wonky Smile?  My Bad hair?   I quite like myself.  I do.  I'm lumpy and bumpy, not overly pretty, and loud. 

What are your best characteristics? My modesty, and unending optimism.




What kind of books do you like to read?   I like to read things that provide escape and imagination... Sometimes I listen to books, and I act them out on my face.  That's interesting for other people on the train. 


What are you reading now?   The Red Road, from Denise Mina, murder thriller, I like these too - especially Denise Mina cause she is Scottish and writes about places I know. 


Where would you want to retire to?   Did I not just answer this question up above? 


What is your favorite time of the day?   All day is my favourite time of day.  Life is a gift. Every moment is to be treasured. 


Where did you grow up?   Here... Where I am; West Coast of Ayrshire.  I've been on east Coast, and City Centre mid-Scotland, city centre east Scotland But came back home for the community and education of my home town.


How far away from your birthplace do you live now?  I live about 15 miles from the nursing home that I was born in. 


Are you a morning person or a night owl?  Oh, I 'm a kind of all day person.  I sleep in the morning, and sleep at night :-)   I love sleeping, but I love being awake when I am.

What inspires you?   My kids. 






Can you close your eyes and raise your eyebrows?   Ha! I didn't know until I tried there.   Yes I can.





Do you have pets?   Yes, we have two kittehs.  Killer and Fats.  AKA Bean and Beau.


How many rings before you answer the phone?   As quick as possible; when i was younger I used to be stalked by a lunatic on the phone - i hate the phone rings, and need to stop them as quickly as possible. 


What are some of the different jobs that you have had in your life? Pot Washer, Waitress, Bar Maid, Bank Clerk, Bar Manager, Administrator, Teacher, Lecturer, Accountant. 


Any new and exciting things that you would like to share?  My son has started writing again - see my previous post.


What is most important in life?  Ohana Means Family. Family means never being alog


Did you dream last night?   Yes, I did. Yes, I did.


Do you remember your dreams?    In that funny way - that they seem to be there in the forefront of my mind, and then I can feel them slipping away as quickly as i try to consider them.
