I can Sing a Rainbow...

Okay, so it isn't swine flu, but a really heavy cold.

I'm miserable, and my top lip has disappeared up my nose.

At least I'm not coughing, but I let 4 people down last night at the house where I was going to practise Reiki.

Turn into Something Beautiful....

I have put my first 6 stones into the tumbler.

I am very excited, but slightly sad that I have to wait over a week before there is going to be any difference.

Get Your Rocks Off Honey, Get Your Rocks Off

Okay, So here I sit. Officially, with nothing to do.

Is lovely.

I have no transcription work (although someone was looking for some today), I have no studying, I have no taxi service to provide tonight. There is no ironing, because the washing is still Wet. Boy has mastered putting washing into the machine, just the hanging up is a problem.

I am looking for ways to amuse myself, and tonight, I am going to start my rocks rolling, and then try to design an invitation for my mum's birthday party.

Great! So I'm really NOT sitting with nothing to do. I have plenty to do.

Blowing thru the Jasmine in my Mind.

I have a rock tumbler. I do.

I got it from a lovely lady called Lucy in Ardeer. (I think it was Lucy), off the Freecycle Website. I have been looking at them on line for Ages, but just felt they were too dear. (Cheapest being £39.00), so I put a note on line at Freecycle, and someone, Lucy, came back to me and said she thought her brother had had one, but had abandoned it. She toddled off to her mums, and found it in the garage. I've just put it on and it works! Apparently it takes weeks for the stones to polish, but I'll give it a bash and see how I get on! Cool eh.

Now the Sun's Getting High In The Sky....

In Troon in Summer.

Flowers appear.

Hanging baskets from shop fronts, and boxes. The boxes appear, both in the street, and at the entrances and exits to and from the Town. At the top of our estate there are two boxes, and a huge lump of rock. I think the rock is artistic, although I'm not sure in what context.

I like to try to make my garden attractive, but my flower baskets, are never quite a flowery as my neighbours. I will never help my town win a Village in Bloom Competition. Much As I'd like to, my flowers just don't inspire. I have lavender, which is blooming lovely, but even this year, it's flowering season seemed quick, and it was only weeks, we have the beautiful blue /lilac colour and now they have all seeded.

One year, I will have beautiful flowers, and BIG hanging baskets!

Talk about things you'd like to do

I tried to blog from my Iphone last night, but it wouldn't let me access this part, although it let me put a title in.... Strange.

I am concerned over my use of the Iphone, it is the first thing I pick up in the morning, and the last thing I touch at night. I have never had anything so shiny and wonderful in all my life. It is access to the whole universe in the palm of my hand. I can phone, I can text, I can email, I can get myself directions, I can meditate, (yes I can), I can play games (Oh, til my fingers hurt), I can use Itunes, I can listen to my books, I can listen to music, I can record, I can watch videos, I can search for shops, I can even find the nearest Starbucks. I have actually left it by my bedside just now, so that I can get on with my typing (Ha! See how that worked - i don't actully have it on me, so I opt for talking about it instead). I also have this thing on it which plays a noise which annoys kids! It is amazing. My daughter gets soooo wound up about it, and Boy's girlfriend, looked like she might be heading in the same direction.

I also have this neat little application which allows me to take a picture, and it goes to somewhere random, anywhere in the world.... and in return I get someone elses picture. Now this of course is open to abuse, and so far I have had maybe 5 dubious crotch shots (why do guys think a pair of socks down the front of their trousers is going to convince me they are worthy?), and a set of nipples complete with babydolls, which did nothing for me. But I did have a couple of returns back and forward with a Girl in US and a Girl in Aussieland - you can reply to people , though not contact direct. You can photograph things which sum your life. ... US Girl had daughter with room full of Hannah Montana. I have Girl with room full of Zac Efron, US girl had black and white dog, I had black and white cat. We take pictures of what we are drinking / eating / doing. And if you really want to communicate, you can take a picture of the screen in front of you and writing.... and you get the answer back the same way. Very neat.

I heart my Iphone.

It's Called Love, And Every Cruelty Will Cloud It

In the warmth of my family I am happy.

The security they give me is beyond compare. They all love me, and me them, but individually, My husband protects me, and my daughter organises me, and my son makes me laugh. Together with them, my life is complete. Nothing else really matters.

And for them, I would lay down my life.

But with them, I am stronger than anyone.

Come and Fly with me

I've been lacking in my blogging. Apologies.

Today, I have a slight hangover, and am mightily tired.

I had a stress-filled day yesterday - between getting house ready for boys return, and for stressing over trying to help Nant and Nunk - who don't want help, and actually probably don't need help! But you always feel that you want to, but probably you couldn't meet to more self-sufficient people!

Anyhoos - my boys are home. Yeah..... delighted. Looking great both of them. Outdoors and swinging from trees seems to suit Boy. He is definitely in the ways of the Bear Grylls model. The more challenges the outdoors throws at him, the happier he is. Husband, exhausted, but looking good. I think the pressure of keeping an eye on 30 young Scouts, and trying to reign in 14 Explorers was immense, and I wouldn't have done it, not for all the Glaciers in the world. Which apparently appear to be getting smaller. Boy noticed a change in them.

I am looking forward to going home tonight, and just sleeping. Someone else responsible in the house, means that I can sleep where and when I like.

Roll on Bedtime!

Meet Me at The Entrance to.....

So,

Weekend all done. Barely Spoken to Si, I was in bed all day yesterday with a REALLY bad migraine.
It was horrendous! I was sick, and sweating, and coughing and really, really panicking. I see how much him being here calms me!

Still I got through it, but Tooli was demented.

We made up for lack of activity yesterday by heading to livingston Shopping centre today.

We got Shoes, A Skirt, a couple of tops, A Bra and Socks for Tooli - She was well cheered by her purchases. Would have liked to have bought more, but didn't see anything else that caught her eye.

We stopped off at the Fort, and had another browse, and then hit Frankie and Bennies for a late Lunch (It was nearer tea-time). I had spaghetti, and Tooli had BBQ Chicken Pizza. Well Lush!

Now we are home, pretending to tidy up a bit. Tool has done a fashion show for me, she totally is stunning, see lovely pictures I have posted....

Work tomorrow. Some semblance of routine back in life again, which cannot be a bad thing.

I Just remembered that my car tax expired on Friday!!!!! I seen an advert for getting your car crushed, and had a flash!! So It's bought, but I had to play two car shuffle, to get mine in the drive, and SI's out for me to use tomorrow! What a nightmare. It might be Thursday before the disc comes.

AND I have to check for Steven to get an MOT! Does the money spending NEVER Stop?
