Sunday Stealing: The Bud is Back Meme

Cheers to all of us thieves!

Why did you sign up for writing your blog?  I had had a hysterectomy, was bored, was editing someone elses blog, and thought I have some interesting ideas.

Why did you choose your blog's name? What does it mean?   Dogwithnobrain.  Tribute to last family dog.  Dylan The DogwithnoBrain.  Gone but not forgotten.

Do you ever had another blog?   Yes, I used to have dogwithnobrain.com, and I blogged franitcally there.   I loved my Dogwithnobrain.com blog - but discovered I could do as much here, without the cost.

What do you do online when you're not on your blog?  Enter competitions, email, facebook, be social.

How about when you're not on the computer?  Currently knitting, sometimes reading, sometimes crocheting.

What do you wish people who read your blog knew about you?  I think that they probably know everything they need to know about me from the blog.

What is your favorite community in the blogosphere?  I Love this one, and I love Saturday 9 too!
What is your philosophy on your blog layout??   Justified and Ancient.

Tell me about your picture you use to represent you on your blog.  I try to find photos which reflect what I am talking about.  If I am busy, I add them later (hence no photos right now)

What features do you think your blog should have that it doesn't currently?  From dogwithnobrain.com I used to have a multitude of pages. A page for each member of my family, a page about work, a page about my life, a page about my interest, a page of horroscopes, and a page where I asked people for money! lol!

Do you have any unique interests that you have never shared before? What are they?  Nope, I'm pretty dang normal and ordinary.

The best thing about blogging is all of the friends that you make, Beside from those folks, do you think your blog has fans?  No I don't think it has. I see that people hit it regularly each day, but few comments, but I hear a lot of people have that problem.  It's not a problem to me, this is somewhere I get to practise writing, and speaking out loud the voices in my head.

What's your current obsession? What about it captures your imagination?  Current obsession, mmm, Merlin.  I wish I was in Merlin's time.  I've been to Tintagel Castle, and it radiates history and stories, very magical.  I wanna be there.  (But without the cold, crappy clothing, and unsanitory conditions.

What are you glad you did but haven't really had a chance to post about?  I think I have blogged about everything I'm glad I did.

How many people that first became a blog friend, have you met face to face?  About 12 I think.  Via another Blog.  We had a wee blog meet in Glasgow, and then a mini meet in Newcastle.

What don't you talk about here, either because it's too personal or because you don't have the energy?  How I feel about the choices my children make.

What's a question that you'd love to answer?  Do you love?

Have you ever lost a blogging friendship and regretted it?  Nope.

Have you ever lost a blogging friendship and thought, “Was that overdue!”  Nope.

Saturday Nine!

1. There's a Time Genie. She can put you back in time to relive a day that you loved. If you could turn back the hands of time, what day would you relive if given this opportunity?
Ooooh.  So many to choose from...My Wedding day?  Was a great day.  The Day I met the Queen?  Also a great day.  The day I met my husband, Brilliant day.   A day in Paris, when I realised life was worth living?   I think it would be the Paris day.  I already had my husband and my children; I was at a point in my life, when I was stressed, depressed, and hitting the big 40.    We had a perfect day, a perfect evening and topped it off, drinking champagne on the rooftop of our hotel, watching the spot light on the top of Eifel Tower, spinning round.  Heaven.  Life at that moment was perfect, and I knew the rest of it would follow.

2. What did you do yesterday?
I was at work. Working hard! :-)    Then I came home, and sat around watching TV in the evening.

3. You've been given 3 parachutes, but there are 4 people who need them. Who will you not give one to: Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, Kim Kardashian, or Simon Cowell? Why?
Kim Kardashian.  I don't understand what the point of her is.  Mel Gibson made Braveheart and Signs.   Simon Cowell keeps a lot of people in work; Charlie Sheen, also keeps a lot of people in work too; Newspapers, Drug Re-habilitation officers, Drug Dealers, Chat Show Hosts, ad finitum.

At 9 pm last night I was watching I'm a Celebrity .... Quite enjoying this years series in fact. Ant and Dec are going above and beyond entertainment, pushing the boundary's of being too rude for much.

Saturday 9, On Thursday ....

1. Have you ever discovered a betrayal? If so, did you ask, “How long has THIS been going on”?     Yes I did.  I met with my friend, and my "boyfriend", and a group of friends I didn't know.  One of them said, "Remind me which one is DWNb so I don't put my foot in it about you and her".  Hmm.  I did ask how long, but was so distraught, I didn't wait for the answer.

2. What is the longest line you've ever stood in? Would you do it again?   Bloody 4 hours, in Leith Walk, in Edinburgh, for Simple Minds Tickets, on a cold and frosty January morning.

3. Someone has hung a sign around your neck, and you have to wear it all day long. What does it say?     Drop Your Trousers If You Want to Have Sex!

5. What Christmas song do you dread to hear?    Anything by Cliff Richard.

6. How often do you read the last chapter of a book first?    Not.  I couldn't.  That would spoil it.

7. Do you have a favorite movie that you just love to see each year during the holidays?     Guess.     That Wonderful Life.  Oh, Jimmy Stewart.  If you were President of the World, everything would be good.

8. Do you enjoy winter in the area that you live?  Yes. I just generally enjoy Winter, as long as it isn't wet.

9. At holiday I think we all show more kindness. In your opinion, is this a “concept” that has value (like money or other tangible things) or does it exist as simply emotion? Why?    People just feel better, people want to increase that feeling and do more kindness to expand on it.
