Holiday's During the World Cup

‘This is my entry to the Al Fresco Holidays and Tots100 World Cup challenge’


During the World Cup - A Holiday would be great  for me
Not because I'd deprive my man of his Glee
Not because I want the TV to be Mine
But Because I want a Fun Filled Football time!

We are English, but Live in Scotland
Supporting England, is really Banned
We sit with all the windows closed, 
And for a goal we are all posed. 

But when the goal for the other team
Falls in the net  - we hear the neighbours scream
The tradition in Scotland is support any team
Other than The English Dream

So a holiday in faraway climes
Where football is celebrated in Rhymes
And all can gather and enjoy the sport, 
Rather than pick, and bully, and then gloat!
